Why we built it

Because most training apps flinch. They accept the goal that is not realistic, prescribe the same week on repeat and call it AI, and hide the reasoning when you ask why.

A coach you cannot question is not a coach

TriCoach was built around one idea: an athlete who understands the plan executes it better. So the app leads with the why — why this session, why the plan just changed, why your goal needs another look — before you ask. Explaining up front is the point: you should rarely have to interrogate your coach to find out what it is thinking.

From the founder

I'm an amateur triathlete, and I love competing. Getting ready for a race meant one app for the plan, another for the numbers, a third for nutrition — and none of them talked to each other. The product I wanted didn't exist, so I decided to build it: training, nutrition and recovery designed together, in one place. By a triathlete, for triathletes — you shouldn't need three apps to get to one start line.

How it is built

TriCoach AI is built and run by its founder, Tristan Delmas. Every safety rule in the engine carries a written audit trail, every safety decision is signed before it ships, and when a review finds a defect the fix lands with a test first proven to fail. The discipline is the product.

What we do not have yet — and will not pretend to

Activities sync in from Strava today, and recovery and sleep from WHOOP; Garmin sync is not live yet, and we will not claim it until it is. Sessions execute from your phone — there is no watch app. TriCoach is an installable web app, not a native one. When something on this list ships, you will read it here, not in a teaser.

Beta athletes shape it

The roadmap is decided by what real athletes hit first. If something is wrong, unclear or missing, say so and it gets triaged like an incident, not a wishlist.
